TEENS TALK!

 

Teens Talk is specifically for teens. My friends call me Ally and I am a teenager.  We will discuss various health topics and activities to address the health concerns that are facing teens. Teens are now diagnosed with  many health related diseases that were once reserved for adults, so it is important for us to take control.

 

Today on Teen Talks we will share how my friends and I stay healthy. I enjoy eating fruits – mangos, strawberries, cherries, oranges, apples, pineapples and kiwi. I love to eat corn, salmon, salad, yogurt and drink lots of water and 100% fruit juices. To stay active, I engage in many cool sport and exercise - - running track, playing basketball, riding bikes, rollerblading, play soccer, swim, skateboard, jump rope and dance. Very soon, I will be playing tennis.

Here are the activities that my friends do to keep healthy.

A: I run track and play basketball.

Q: What is your favorite fruit?
A: My favorite fruits are Mangoes and Apples.

Q: What drink do you prefer water, milk, or juice?
A: I prefer juice than water and milk because juice is very refreshing.

Deanna

Q: What is your favorite sport?
A: My favorite sport is baseball.

Dean

Q: What do you do to stay active?
A: I like to play basketball with my friends and ride my bike to stay active.

Mikhal

Q: Do you play any specific sport to stay active?
A: I play soccer and play football to stay healthy.

Dorothy

Q: How do you stay healthy?
A: I love to dance. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables. My favorite vegetable is spinach. I also love the Caesar salad.
